Unisun has three continual members, Matt Goodman (songs, vocals and guitar), Chris Walker (drums and percussion) and Nick Felstead (Bass).
Matt has been writing and recording music for 14 years now travelling between Huddersfield and Liverpool. He has previously worked with bands/artists such as Vapour Trail (Huddersfield), Paul Fox (Liverpool), The High Plains (Liverpool) and Riser (Huddersfield).
Nick has been playing for 8 years and is self taught, Unisun is his first serious band. He plays a ESP Ltd. series B-304FM bass through a Laney RBW300 amp.
Nicks influences are Pantera,Metallica, Earl Greco and Flea.
Chris has played drums since the tender age of 9. His first experience was with the Liverpool Allstar steel band. He has been taught by session drummer Scott Sinclkler and has played at the Royal Philharmonic hall, aboard the Mersey ferry and the Mardi Gras festival amongst others.
His other bands include The Time Flies and The Black Dhalia, whos demo was voted demo of the week by NME.
Matt has a Simply Music and B - Tec National Diploma in popular music which he gained from Liverpool Community College where he studied for 2 years. Drawing from these experiences Matt has steadily built a body of work both song based and instrumental which you can hear on this site
'All Euphoria', Unisuns first album was recorded in 3 sessions at the TDK studios at the Liverpool Institute for performing arts (LIPA) with the help of 3 session musicians and engineer Patrick Muller
'Nil Satis-Nisi Optimum', Was the first home recording (Engineer Patrick Muller)
'Out Of Mind Experience', 'Excerpts From The Viscera', 'Northern Songs', 'Audio Drawings' and 'Sailing On The Sonic Ohm Airwaves' were all performed and produced by Matt again at his home
recording studio on a 24 track recorder.
'Imperial Sounds Of Earth' (Vol 1+2), 'Transcendental Melodies' (Vol1+2), Phases Of The Psyche' 'Psychotronika' and 'For A Muted Television Set' are Matts venture in instrumental music and were also recorded at his studio
The band are currently re-recording and mastering 'Out Of Mind Experience' at Vulcan studios.
